Perth College UHI Library is part of the UHI Library Team, which acts as a federated library network across the UHI sites.
Perth College UHI Library is autonomous in the areas of budgets, staffing, leadership, continuing professional development, resources, vision and direction, where it takes its lead from Perth College UHI strategy and policy. Library staff are also involved in the creation and implementation of the UHI Library Strategic Plan.
Perth College UHI Library staff consists of two fully qualified librarians.
Donald MacLean is the College Librarian, and a chartered member of CILIP.
Donald graduated from Aberdeen University with an MA (Hons) in English and History, and Post Graduate Diploma in Information and Library Studies from Strathclyde University.
Richard Hughes is the Assistant Librarian and a qualified member of CILIP. Richard graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University with an BA (Hons) in Social Science (History and Politics) and an MSc Information and Library Studies from Strathclyde University.
Claire Seraphina is the Library Advisor and has an HND qualification in Administration and Information Management.
Nicola Stewart is the Library Administrator and has an HND in Business Administration.
Anne Wright and Therese Nilsson are the evening Library Assistants.
