Northern Europe - planning together for a sustainable future

Tuesday 13th to Thursday 15th November 2007

The Newton Hotel, Nairn, Scotland

This conference brought together and presented good practice examples of spatial planning processes, using case studies from across Northern Europe and further afield. It was the final event of SpatialNorth, an Interreg IIIB project involving regions with peripheral characteristics, in Scotland, Iceland, Sweden and Finland. The project outcomes, including a toolbox of spatial planning good practices, were presented. The conference will focused on international themes on day one and two, and on the Highlands and Islands of Scotland on day three.

Presentations are now available on the conference webpage on the SpatialNorth website.
