College may be different than what you're used to: it's much bigger than school and it can often feel more relaxed.
We do not have bells ringing at the end of each class, there is a student centre called The Union where you can hang out when you don't have class, and you're going to make new friends with a wide range of new people from different schools and places.
The Real World
The facilities we have at Perth College UHI are on a larger scale than at school: we have three buildings, two canteens, two Costa Coffee bars and the Union which has pool tables and other activities to help you relax between classes, like a juke box and X-Box.
As well as classrooms, you'll learn in 'real-life' environments: trendy Hair and Beauty salons, state of the art recording studios, working kitchens and other workshops that are all fitted to industry standard so you can get the most realistic experience possible and will be ready to go out into the real world.
Who Studies at College?
There are more types of people than you can
imagine who study here at Perth College UHI: from school pupils like you, to mature adults, and sometimes even grandparents. You'll have to be more mature at College - this is a time for you to shine, and learn how to get along with people from all different backgrounds.
