Perth College UHI offers nearly two dozen Highers – from Biotechnology to Sociology -mostly in the evening to fit around your schedule. For school pupils who are S5/S6 these courses add breadth and depth to your study, and allow more flexibility in your individual choices.

Kathryn needed to take Biotechnology to get onto her dream course at Uni, but her school didn't offer that Higher. Here's what her mum said about taking a Higher at Perth College UHI:
"Grove Academy is a bit of a trek to the College, but Kathryn is really interested in ecology, and needs a couple of Science Highers to secure her place at a top Uni.
"Her school doesn't offer biotechnology, so instead Kathryn goes to Perth College UHI. It took some getting used to, but the staff at the College are really committed to Kathryn's safety and well-being and I know she's being well looked after.
"Plus, she's getting a sense of what life will be like after she leaves school, and I think that will really help her when she goes off to Uni."
