Perth College UHI has been celebrating after winning two titles in the coveted Scotland’s Colleges Marketing Awards 2010.

The awards attract entries from colleges all over Scotland, and recognise creativity, innovation and celebrate success of marketing professionals within Scotland's colleges.

The bronze award in the Outstanding Contribution category recognised Marketing Manager Lynsae Tulloch’s efforts in leading the College’s specialist in-house Marketing team to new accomplishments.  Successes include increased student application rates through creative and new-media initiatives and award-winning promotional campaigns which have reached new markets.

The gold award for Market Research was won by Market Intelligence Manager Margaret Antonson. The top title recognised her lead role in the College’s research project looking at potential demand for a new course through work with existing students and consultation with employers. The research provided evidence of sufficient demand and identified skills required by industry, which helped secure approval for the development of the course.
