Be in demand: study at Perth College

Surrounded by breathtaking views of the Grampian hills and located in the heart of Perthshire — just west of Perth city's buzzing centre — Perth College UHI’s campus is an ideal place to study.

Our commitment to excellence means that we are continuously improving our facilities. Our custom built library is a modern space which gives our students access to thousands of resources, including books, journals and multi-media items.

We have created new learning spaces, like our learning café, which helps students to learn in new and innovative ways.  We have instilled a culture of exploration, so that students have access to 'real life' tools and experiences, like student exchange, work study, and cutting-edge software.

We love the campus environment, but we know that not all our students can come to the College campus, which is why we have made large investments in technology and off-campus facilities; many of our courses are also available in your workplace, in our Local Learning Centres, through video conference or online, so students can study with us no matter where they are in the world!

Hospitality and Tourism Department Facilities

Some of the nation's most celebrated chefs, including Andrew Fairlie from Andrew Fairlies at Gleneagles and Tom Kitchin from The Kitchin in Edinburgh, have learned to cook within our kitchens.

We know our students deserve the best environment in which to become skilled and that is why we constantly reinvest within our hospitality facilities.

Our students practise and test their culinary and hospitality skills within our innovative training environments that encompass modern delivery concepts from the team and industry partners.

We have two restaurants: our coffee shop, Percup, and our award-winning Gallery Restaurant, which won the title of Scotland and Northern Ireland’s College Restaurant of the Year.

Leisure Department Facilities

Perth College UHI and the fantastic resources around us are great places to study coaching, sport and outdoor adventure leadership.

Situated in the centre of Scotland, the natural landscape offers the perfect learning environment, with easy access to all of Scotland’s best outdoor centres and facilities.

From mountain climbing to kayaking, our students get hands-on experience in one of the most beautiful environments on earth.

For sports coaching and fitness training we work in partnership with a bunch of crazy outdoor dudes and Perth and Kinross Leisure and have access to an extensive choice of football pitches, artificial surfaces and fully equipped top-of-the range fitness gyms with sports cafés.
